Invocation Bullhead City Memorial

Heavenly Father, as we gather to celebrate the courage and commitment of Hospital Corpsmen Dustin Burnett and the many sons of Arizona who have acquitted themselves, their profession, and families with honor we ask that You, our Great Healer dwell on these hallowed grounds.

Mighty God and our great Physician, we beseech Thee to grant wisdom to those who speak. Fill their words with the power to heal the wounds of death and to inspire the pursuit of life and the values that these fallen heroes embody.

While time may never soothe the sting of death, we ask that You, our God of peace, allow the words spoken here to be a salve to this community and the countless hearts that have been touched by the men whose names are engraved on this sacred site. May this memorial be used to ignite the flame of service and patriotism in the next generation who answers the call to stand the watch.

In the Name of the one who laid His life down for His friends, our Lord Jesus Christ we pray.

Amen.

Navy Bday Ball Region Southwest 2023

Almighty Father, our ever present help, refuge and strength. We invoke you to bless this gathering of the sons and daughters of liberty as we celebrate 248 years of American Naval Service. As we recount the courage and honor of the forefathers who donned our nation's cloth. We ask that you protect, guide and strengthen our comrades in arms who have heeded liberty's call to oppose tyranny and terrorism. As we take part in these Naval traditions, remind us that freedom comes at a cost. Remind our nation that they may sleep peacefully at night because our warriors of the sea stand ready to do violence on their behalf. Bless the families of these mariners who have sacrificed and now bear Old Glory over foreign shores. God bless America so that we may stand a nation for another 248 years with freedom and justice for all. In the name of He who is always faithful we pray, Amen
